2 | Devasabhathalam | Dr. K. J. Yesudas, Raveendran, Sujith | Another version, in which M. G. Sreekumar replaces Raveendran Master, was also recorded. But Raveendran's version was selected in the movie. It was said by M.G. Sreekumar himself 19 years later in Idea Star Singer that the original version is sung by him with Yesudas and Sharreth. He also said that Yesudas will beat anyone, either father or son, if there is a strong failure. Because if the singing is by combining, everyone wants to become as big as Yesudas, even if in the case of Vidhu Prathap or Jyotsna, who were standing beside him. So, they wanted to go as bigger, but Yesudas has his own style and Sreekumar with his own style. Once Sreekumar was happy, but when he heard about the sequence, he became so sad. Because the character is of a proud singer (Played by Kaithapram). So, director Sibi Malayil wanted Yesudas in the place of the character played by Mohanlal and Sreekumar in the place of the character played by Kaithapram, who at last will lose because of his pride. Raveendran said to Sreekumar: 'If you can do, you can come tomorrow.' But his friends compelled him not to sing the song, because they were aware that if the cassette would become released, that by Yesudas will become very good and that by Sreekumar will become very bad. So, that version was just included in the cassette and the version with Raveendran was pictured.
